Biggest Morning Tea - St Joseph Campus

Wednesday, June 22, 2022

To think I was worried that we wouldn’t have enough food for the Biggest Morning Tea, how mistaken I was, and pleasantly so. The Year 12 students generously donated their time making food, bringing in decorations and raising money with all proceeds going to the Anti Cancer Council. The student leadership team encouraged their peers to step up and fundraise. It was a great opportunity for staff and Year 12 students to mingle with one another and take some time out to be out of the classroom and enjoy some animated conversations. Thank you to Sr Mariette and Ms Bacash who both spoke and to the Student Leadership team who helped set up and co ordinate the event. The raffle was a success and I would like to thank the staff who donated gifts. I would also like to thank the families that supported our students in bringing in food or items for the event.

A great effort on raising $368.85

This morning, the year 12’s and staff all participated in the Biggest Morning Tea, set up to raise money for the Cancer Council Australia. It was a great time to bond with our classmates and teachers whilst having some delicious snacks that each student brought to share. The event was enjoyable and definitely a highlight for our year level.
