Wednesday, June 30, 2021

University of Melbourne students are currently organising a skills development program for high school students, Social Entrepreneurship Discovery Program (SEDP) and would like to invite the students from Antonine College to participate.

The SEDP is a 3-day program that will be happening from the 28 – 30 June at the University of Melbourne which will immerse students from Year 9 to 11 in the world of social entrepreneurship. It will take place each day from 10.00 AM to 4.00 PM. We aim to build valuable soft skills and critical thinking which will be useful in any career path these students decide to pursue.

Throughout the 3-day program, we will hold a plethora of workshops centred around skills needed to start a successful business while also hosting guest speaker presentations from young entrepreneurs. On the final day of the program, we will be challenging students to write a business plan for their own social enterprise tackling a pressing issue that they're passionate about in the world.
