We promote a strong sense of wellbeing through a broad range of support and care services which are led by our Wellbeing Leaders. Our faith is central to creating a safe, inclusive and supportive environment for our students to thrive.

Our wellbeing-focused curriculum supports academic, social and emotional development. All students have access to counselling services, pastoral care and College Chaplains to guide their development.

We take a restorative approach to disagreements between students, focusing on rebuilding and strengthening relationships over punitive measures. We find this approach encourages personal growth and builds respectful connections.

House system

We operate a house system which promotes a sense of camaraderie amongst students and fosters our school spirit. Student House Captains lead assemblies and conduct House activities, competitions and events.

Our houses are:

  • MacKillop named after Mother Mary MacKillop, Australia’s first saint

  • Maroun named after the Maronite Saint Maroun

  • Nassar named after Sister Marie Nassar, the first Principal of Antonine College

  • Paterson named after the Australian poet Andrew Barton ‘Banjo’ Paterson.

Buddy Program

At Cedar Campus, the Buddy Program supports our youngest students to develop connections and feel a part of our school community. Younger students seek support from their buddy during structured class activities and yard play. Older students gain a sense of responsibility through caring for and mentoring younger students.

Student leadership

There are a range of opportunities for students to develop their leadership skills and become active leaders in the school and broader community.

Our positions of leadership include House, Faith and Social Justice Captains and class-elected positions on the Student Representative Council. Students can also be involved in more informal positions of responsibility such as class jobs.
