Prayer brings many blessings into our lives. At Antonine College, we are truly blessed to have the Grotto of Our Blessed Mother Mary at the entrance of our school, welcoming our community each day with her love and protection. We are also blessed to have the statue of St Charbel overlooking our school from the oval, inspiring our students through his faith, holiness and devotion. May all who visit or pass by these sacred places find peace, hope and countless blessings through prayer.
Our Rosary Club provides students with a special opportunity to come together in prayer with Sr Veronique during Break 1.
Students and leaders have shared what prayer, and these sacred spaces mean to them:
Helen Diab: “All the students were surprised and excited to see the statue of St Charbel. The statue is displayed on the oval, giving every student the opportunity to pray, kneel before it, touch it or kiss it as a sign of faith and devotion.”
Mikayla Escaross & Pia Fahim: “We really enjoy praying the Rosary with Sr Veronique. When we pray, we feel joy in our hearts. We encourage all students to come and pray the Rosary during Break 1.”
Raphael Aphram: “It is very holy to meditate on the divine mysteries of the Most Holy Rosary.”
Alissa Alnassrallah: “Thank you, God, for everything.”
