Conferencing Workshop
On Monday, following the Winter holiday break, Antonine College educators came together for a day of professional learning with guest presenter Jason Pascoe. The day focused on exploring how purposeful conferencing conversations can deepen student engagement and enhance learning outcomes.
Through collaboration, reflection, and practical strategies, staff strengthened their understanding of how meaningful conversations can move learning forward by focusing on three simple questions: What's wanted? What's working? What's next?
Building on the day's learning, teachers will develop an Impact Cycle for Term 3, applying these conferencing approaches in their practice. Over the next 10 weeks, staff will implement these strategies and reflect on their impact as they continue to strengthen student learning through purposeful conversations.
