This Lent, Antonine College will be taking part in The BIG Water Walk - a Caritas Australia initiative that challenges school communities to walk in solidarity with the 292 million people worldwide who walk long distances daily just to collect water.
Sisilia’s Story:
Our walk this year is dedicated to students like Sisilia, a 13-year-old from rural Tanzania who regularly missed school to collect water for her family. Thanks to Project Compassion, her community now has clean water close to home - giving Sisilia back her education and her future. Every dollar our school raises brings more students like her one step closer to that same gift.
How Can Families Help?
Share Sisilia’s story with your family and pray together for those without access to clean water. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LIH3CgX4VxY
