On Tuesday the 25th, Year 11 cohorts were treated with a presentation on behalf of Speak and Share, a preventative mental health charity dedicated to transforming Australian communities by breaking down stigma and inspiring real, meaningful conversations.
Today’s group were the Year 11 boys who participated in three separate activities all centred around the ideas of connecting to their peers, thinking outsides the box and reflecting on their support systems. It was lovely to see the young men working together and having some meaningful conversations between one another outside of the classroom – the two presenters were very patient with the students and did an excellent job facilitating discussion.
