On the 5th of March our Year 5–8 students enjoyed a fantastic day at the Coburg Olympic Swimming Pool for our annual Swim Sports. The weather was perfect, with plenty of sunshine, creating great conditions for both competitors and spectators.
Students competed in a range of swimming events in the pool, including freestyle, backstroke, and a kickboard race. It was fantastic to see so many students getting involved and giving their best in the water.
There were also plenty of activities happening around the venue throughout the day. Students enjoyed taking part in the egg and spoon race, water volleyball, soccer shoot out on the grass area, a variety of physical challenges in the activities pool, and a diving competition, which drew lots of excitement from the crowd.
It was great to see strong participation, encouragement between houses, and excellent sportsmanship displayed across the day.
Congratulations to Maroun House, who finished the day as our overall Swim Sports champions. A big thank you to the staff and students who helped make the day such a success.
