Year 9 students have been researching the topic of food waste and ways in which we can all play a role in reducing the amount of food that is thrown away. In this practical, students made use of some of the main ingredients which are thrown out weekly in our households, including bread, vegetables and dairy and created their own versions of pizza on toast!
This was an extremely enjoyable lesson and demonstrated how we can use everyday ingredients creatively to minimise food waste and in turn, create something delicious!
