Pope Leo XIV has dedicated 2026 as a Year of Prayer for Peace. Across Antonine, students have been exploring the meaning of his message of peace through a range of meaningful activities.
Year 4 students created “Trees of Peace” in their classrooms, reflecting on ways they can help bring peace to others.
Meanwhile, students in Years 5 and 6 worked together to design a collaborative display of hands symbolising how we can work together for peace. Staff at the Cedar campus also contributed to this display, decorating their own hands with symbols that represent peace.
Together, these activities remind us that each of us can play a role in building peace within our school and wider community
