As part of our Inquiry unit on Community Helpers, our foundation students loved having the firefighters visit our school! They learned about the important job firefighters do to help keep our community safe and what to do in an emergency.
Students had the chance to explore a real fire truck, see the equipment firefighters use, and have a turn spraying the fire hose. It was a fun experience, and we enjoyed learning more about the amazing work our local firefighters do.
