Student reflection
On Wednesday the 18th of March all the Year 6 students teachers went on a retreat to St Charbel in Greenvale. We had a lot of fun learning more about religion. We started the day off with a nice introduction lead by some of the Year 10 students followed up by a beautiful mass and some prayers for Lent. We next went with our class and participated in some activities before we had some lunch. After lunch we had two more activities, and it was so much fun as we got to make role plays and act out different emotions with a partner. We really enjoyed the day and look forward to more religious adventures.

On the 18th of March, the Year 10 Catch The Wave class ran a retreat for the Year 6’s at Saint Charbel in Greenvale. We started off a quick quiz following our arrival then engaged in a mass. We soon began our rotations, in which were split up into 3 groups. Each group had their own separate ideas and topics that were spoken and elaborated to the students. Following the 3 rotations, we had a reflection at the end where we prayed in the Church, including a decade of the Hail Mary, before we played a game called sleeping lions to conclude the retreat. The retreat was a very enjoyable and fun experience and I'd most certainly like to do it again.
