On Tuesday 18th August, our Year 4–12 students gathered in faith to celebrate the Feast of the Assumption of Mary, with Mass celebrated by Bishop Antoine Tarabay.
This special celebration also marked a significant moment for our College community with the unveiling and blessing of our new statues of St Maroun and St Charbel. These statues will stand as lasting reminders of our Maronite faith and heritage, inspiring us to follow the example of these great saints through lives of prayer, faith and love.
Following Mass, students involved in our Spiritus Program were given a special opportunity to spend time with Bishop Antoine in an intimate Q&A session. Students were able to ask questions, hear his insights and engage in meaningful conversation about faith, life and their own spiritual journeys.
We thank Bishop Antoine for joining us and blessing our College community on this joyful feast day. May Mary, assumed into Heaven, St Maroun and St Charbel continue to intercede for and guide our community.
