Saint Joseph Campus Handbooks

Year 7 & 8

Year 7 and 8 students study the core subjects of Religious Education, English, STEM (Science Technology Engineering Mathematics), Health, Pastoral Care, Humanities (History and Geography) and Physical Education.

Students also engage in a semester of Music, Art and Performing Arts. Curriculum extension programs, excursions, learning support, Year 8 camp and co-curricular activities support the core curriculum.

Year 9 & 10

Students in Year 9 and 10 continue their study of the core subjects, whilst being challenged and engaged in a range of electives designed for both enrichment and to provide an opportunity for students to prepare for study and career pathways.

The Year 9 program includes an outdoor camp experience, 1:1 Laptop program, life skills and independent transport activities and a performance at the end of semester two.

At Year 10 opportunities exist for extension studies and a greater range of pathways electives to give students choice and autonomy over their learning.

Year 11 and 12 (Senior Students)

Students entering Year 11 and 12 will have the opportunity to complete the Victorian Certificate of Education (VCE). Students may also choose to elect Vocational Education and Training (VET) subjects alongside VCE subjects. VET subjects may also contribute to satisfactory completion of VCE units.
