F-12 Music Soiree

On Tuesday the 1st of July, the Term 2 Music Soirée was held in the Mother Isabelle El-Khoury Stadium. It was our largest soirée of recent times, with 36 performances. Both campuses were represented across keyboard, guitar, voice, drum kit and Arabic drums, from Foundation students to Year 12s. The students performed brilliantly, the result of committed practice and rehearsals throughout the term.
After many solo and band ensembles, the Arabic drumming students were featured as the finale. The new Arabic drumming program, led by former student Elias Elhage, offers tuition to tabl and derbake players. Their group performances were a dynamic and exciting ending to an impressive night from our music students.
