Foundation Firefighter Incursion

On Monday 19 June Foundation students and teachers welcomed the firefighters once again. In the second session students continued to learn about emergency services and their roles in our communities, good and bad fires, safe meeting places and what to do in emergencies.
Everyone’s favourite part was going out to the fire truck and learning about the important parts and equipment firefighters use to stop fires. The students had the opportunity to hop on the truck and they even got to use a fire hose! It was amazing!
The students had a wonderful experience. The firefighters also had a great time. They were giving everyone a high 5!
