Year 1 and 3 Buddies

Our 1A and 3A students enjoyed catching up with their buddies in the atrium. Both year levels have been learning about the features of non-fiction texts, so this provided the perfect opportunity for the year 3 students to share their knowledge and expertise with their younger buddies. The students discussed features such as the contents page, glossary, headings, captions, and labelled diagrams. The buzz of learning was clearly evident.
