Year 11 Allied Health Excursion

The students of Year 11 went to Mayfield Education in Hawthorn on Wednesday 14th of June to learn about Manual Handling Training. This practical experience coupled with their theory enabled the students to acquire the skills to safely undertake manual handling tasks, reducing their risk of injury while working with High care needs patients. The training empowered the students to ensure they are working safely, comfortably and productively at work. The practical experience and training means our ready to undertake their their placement next semester, to consolidate their skills while working practically with high care needs clients in the Healthcare Industry.
