Our Year 9 dance class recently attended the En Pointe performance at Hamer Hall, hosted by The Australian Ballet School. Watching professional dancers live gave students a firsthand look at the skill and dedication needed in ballet. The mix of contemporary and traditional works inspired our students, who returned with new techniques and a deeper passion for dance. This experience also highlighted the importance of hard work and perseverance in achieving excellence, motivating our students to strive even harder in their own practice.

After experiencing this dance excursion, we were able to learn about these skills! It was so fascinating seeing people do so many different turns and jumps and how they performed as a dancer. Their individual tricks and skills and the combination of storylines really impacted the dance and made it more entertaining for us! 10/10 experience.
